Every version tag publishes macOS and Linux binaries to a GitHub release, and nimon tools shows and installs ffmpeg, claude and gh.

A release to download

A
v*
tag now runs the Release workflow. It builds the embedded overlay, runs the tests, cross compiles
nimon
for darwin and linux on amd64 and arm64, and attaches each as a
.tar.gz
with a
checksums.txt
to the GitHub release for that tag. Installing no longer needs Go, pnpm or a clone: download the archive, put
nimon
on the
PATH
, and run
nimon tools install
.

nimon tools

nimon tools
lists the browser, ffmpeg, claude and gh, each with its path or the command that installs it.
nimon tools install
installs every one missing with Homebrew, or only the ones named,
nimon tools install ffmpeg gh
, and prints the status again. A name it does not know exits 2, and a machine without Homebrew exits 1 pointing at https://brew.sh. The browser is never installed; any Chromium based browser works.

nimon doctor
reads the same table, so its fix line for a missing tool is now
nimon tools install <name>
.

The docs are on developer.samna.io

The cli reference, stories and test files, the architecture, the overlay contract, the vite plugin, the nimon-pr skill and the landscape moved from
docs/
to
.nimpress/
and publish under tools/nimon on developer.samna.io behind the developer login. Each page was checked against the code: the global flags, the missing flags of
click
,
dialog
,
focus
,
zoom
,
run
,
network route
,
record stop
,
story
,
chart
,
explore
,
review
,
collect
,
security
and
site learn
, the
security apis
command, and the defaults of every config key are now written down.
