Area

An area is a geographic or functional grouping of displays within an organization. Areas represent physical zones like a floor, wing, or building section and allow managing displays at a location level.

Structure

Areas contain rooms and can be organized hierarchically. A building might have areas for each floor, and each floor area contains the rooms and displays on that level.

Meetingarea Templates

Areas can be assigned meetingarea templates that aggregate information across all rooms within the area. A display in a corridor might show the availability of every meeting room on that floor using a single meetingarea template.

Management

Areas are created and organized through the portal. Moving a device or room between areas updates its grouping and any area level templates automatically.
