Screen

A screen is the display configuration layer on top of a device. While a device represents the physical hardware, a screen defines what that hardware shows and how users interact with it.

Configuration

Screens are configured through the portal with content assignment, QR code generation, and display specific settings. A single device runs one screen configuration at a time.

QR Codes

Screens can generate QR codes that link to booking pages, room information, or custom URLs. These codes are displayed on the signage and allow users to interact with the system from their phones.

Content Assignment

A screen pulls its content from the template assigned to its device. The screen configuration adds display specific overrides like orientation, brightness scheduling, and interaction modes on top of the template layout.
