Asset

An asset is a media file stored in the cloud and used within templates and themes. Images, videos, and documents are uploaded through the portal and stored in Azure Blob Storage.

Metadata

Each asset tracks its content type, file size, tags, and upload metadata. Tags allow organizing assets into categories for easier discovery in the portal.

Usage

Assets are referenced by templates and themes to provide visual content on displays. A screen template might show a company logo, a wayfinding map, or a promotional video, all pulled from the asset library.

Organization Scope

Assets belong to an organization. Users within the organization can upload, manage, and organize media files through the portal. Assets are shared across all templates and devices within the same organization.
